Privacy
Beta policy for the public map, read-only API, dataset, owner services, and support. It describes current handling for the Webterra service.
Information we collect
We may receive account and organization details, verified domain ownership, Map-this-site requests and consent, owner workflow information, support/correction reports, and limited technical information needed to secure and operate the service. Public map and routing queries are lookup-only; they do not authorize a crawl, browser session, transaction, or account change.
How we use information
We use information to publish approved, minimized map records; verify owner access; evaluate an authenticated bounded mapping request; fulfil separately scoped owner services when enabled; prevent abuse; maintain security; and respond to support, privacy, correction, takedown, and deletion requests. Payment details are handled by the configured payment provider. Customer conversion analytics is disabled in the current beta.
Retention and protection
Current beta defaults are 7 days for raw traces, 90 days for redacted evidence, and 90 days for bounded Map-this-site request records, subject to deletion requests, disputes, legal holds, and audit requirements. We apply access controls and minimize published derivatives; no security measure is an absolute guarantee.
Your questions and choices
For privacy, deletion, correction, or takedown requests, contact support or the correction address shown below. Include the public URL/result ID and factual or rights basis, but never send credentials, private traces, or signed URLs. Account deletion can remove account-owned data where permitted; it does not erase independent evidence or required audit/billing records.
